Faithful, loyal and good . . .

Kitchen Remodel in Irvington home:

These OLD WORLD cabinets were designed, built and installed by the Howling Dog. This NE Portland homeowner wanted to bring together the elements of the old world feeling with flush inset doors and drawer fronts, with shaker panel fronts.

The cabinets are poplar wood frames with maple panels -- clear maple interiors.

The oak floor was installed and finished by Mike Pitts of Third Generation Hardwood Floors 503.705.9789.

Every effort was made to maximize storage while embracing the most modern appliances.

The Viking range and the range hood are the only appliances that are not hidden inside the cabinets.

The dishwasher is a drawer pull-out to the right of the farm sink.

All plumbing and gas pipe fitting was done by Tim and Brandon Galuza of Liberty Plumbing.

The two drawer refrigerator is to the left of the farm sink.

Undercabinet lighting for every task on the beautiful Carrara marble countertops. The wall mounted faucet goes so well with the farm sink.

The dining nook features this pantry with classic lines floor to ceiling.

And a tiled niche to go with the other backsplash areas. Lots of storage. The microwave is inside the right cupboard doors.
